Retail Capital Langa AC is staging a marathon on 30 May 2021 at the Killarney International Raceway with a view to giving athletes from South Africa and the rest of the world a last opportunity to qualify for the 2021 Olympics. There will be a max of 90 runners and 10 pacers across men and women.
The event is not being staged for commercial gain at all, our reason for doing it is to provide our local athletes, a last chance to qualify for the 2021 Olympics.
A maximum number of 100 runners will be allowed to participate. As such the organisers reserve the right to accept your entry. We would like to only invite runners who have a realistic chance of qualifying. Preference will therefore be given to runners who are identified by their National Federation and their respective Olympic Committees, who meet the respective male and female pre qualifying times criteria.
